My First Painting
I'm just getting used to my digital camera, so I've screwed up a lot of shots. One I had someone take of my girlfriend and me turned out way too dark. So I printed it out, trimed the two of us out of the pic, traced the outline onto a canvas, painted, and then tried to distress the canvans with a razor blade. This is the resulting painting. I was trying for a mid-70's to early-80's look that aped the feel of an old t-shirt or a K-tel compilation. I call this painting "Easy Love Mood." (Total Time = 2+ hours.)
