"Be Bold with Bananas"
I bought be "Be Bold With Bananas" for a dollar. I love the horrendous yellow cover. And I love the horrifying pictures of food inside. I've seen quite a few old cookbooks and it always boggles my mind what once could possibly be considered appetizing. The piece de resistance in this particular book is a "candle" they've made out of a banana some sort of cream and a cherry. It's . . . well, it's something else. Yowza.
